Peculiarities of the raspberry (Rubus idaeus) mesophyll cells ultra-structural organization in the conditions of the viral infection / Taranukho M.P.,  Kovalyshyna J.M. . // Sadivnytstvo (Horticulture). – 2017. – 72. – P. 166-172. – Refs.: 23. – in Ukrainian.

The authors have carried out a comparative study of the healthy and diseased  raspberry leaves in order to determine the degree of the influence of various viruses on the anatomical structure of the plants affected by them. When there are external anomalies which look like mosaics, spots that may be caused by many pathogens and the mechanic inoculation of the causative agent with juice is absent it is expedient to apply the method of the electron microscopy which enables to reveal in the affected cells the structures that are absent in the healthy ones. In the affected cell amorphouns and crystalline threads have been detected. They are excessive material formed by the cell which because of blocking many metabolitic processes accumulates in the form of phloem albumin. Besides, a great number of morphological and structural changes of cellular organelles have been revealed in the affected cell.

Key words: raspberry, biological testing, viral diseases and particles, plants-indicators, anatomic structure, cell, electrone microscopy.
