Effect of the cultivar-rootstock combinations and inter-calaries on the pear (Pirum communis L.) trees leaf apparatus functional  state / Grusha V.V., Kitayev O.I., Khodakivs´ka J.B// Sadivnytstvo (Horticulture). – 2017. – 72. – P. 58-64. – Refs.: 15. – in Ukrainian.

The authors present the results of researching the different pear cultivar-rootstock combinations and intercalaries trees leaf apparatus functioning. The plants functional state was defined by means of the instrument "Floratest" by determining the inductive changes of the leaves chlorophyll fluorescence. According to the plateau KpL coefficient the viral infection was not detected in the cultivar-rootstock combinations. The use of the intercalary Pirahnom 20 cm and 40 cm long reduced the trees growing energy and at the minimum did not decrease the photosynthetic processes intensity in the leaves chloroplasts.

Key words: pear varieties, intercalaries, chlorophyll fluorescence, photosynthetic activity, adaptability, leaf apparatus.
