A group of the better ukrainian and foreign strawberry cultivars and elite forms was estimated in the northen part of the Ukraine’s Lisosteppe in excessively humid 2014 and droughty 2015. Cvs with the best characteristics were selected – the ukrainian Rosana Kyivs’ka and Veselka, italian Clery and english Christine. No researched foreign cultivar ripened so early as the ukrainian Ol’viya and Rosana Kyivs’ka which appeared able to ensure the highest realization price. The ripening of the american cv Honey and italian Alba began 3-4 days later. The high adaptive to unfavourable environmental conditions large-fruited and high productive cultivar Rusanivka was recommended merely for the farmstead cultivation in the northern regions.
