The author presents the results of studying the influence of the cultivar peculiarities and weather conditions on the dogwood fruits quality formation in the Ukraine’s Right-Bank Lisosteppe. Their physical characteristics have appeared to depend not only on the precipitations sum during the vegetation period but also on their fall in winter and spring. Among cultivars of the researched crop grown in the investigations subzone it is Mykhailivs’ky and Lukyanivs’ky that have the largest average fruit mass and the best mass-stone mass ration.
