Economic and biological charañteristics of new sweet cherry (Ñerasus avium Moench.) varieties of the Melitopol’ Research Station of Fruit Growing / Dolgova S.V. // Sadivnytstvo (Horticulture). – 2015. – 70. – P. 22-28. – Refs.: 7. – in Ukrainian.
The author presents the results of studying new sweet cherry varieties of the Melitopol’ Research Station of Fruit Growing in the conditions of the Ukraine’s Southern Steppe. The cultivars with high economic and biological values were selected, namely: high productivity, fruit size, complex resistance against Monilia and Coccomyces, high flower buds resistance against low temperatures, in winter? Among them Chance (early ripening term), Prostir, Zabuta, Totem, Zodiak (medium ripening term), Anshlag, Lyubymytsya Turovtseva, Meotida, Mirazh (late ripening term), that are recommended for cultivation in farm orchards.
