The author presents the characteristics of pear introduced and inland cultivars under the conditions of the northern part of the Ukraine’s Lisosteppe concerning their phenological and physiological properties, resistance to main diseases and pests and productivity. The best of them have been selected according to the signs valuable for economy and recommended for industrial orchards and private plots. Selected cvs may be used in the breeding practice as the source for the formation of early ripening, high yield, resistance to leaves hydrothermal blight, winter-hardiness.
