The author has determined the problems of producing sound strawberry planting stock in Ukraine. The ways of solving those problems are proposed which stipulate sanitation and growing seedlings by means of the micropropagation in the in vitro culture as well as the usage of ecologically safe technologies in order to decrease the influence of heavy metals.
