The author presents the results of studying cherry varieties productivity and its dependence on weather conditions. Under the conditions of the Ukraine’s Southern Steppe the most important cherry yield forming factors appeared weather conditions during the periods of flowering and fruit formation as well as the differentiation and generative buds organogenesis stages. The most critical conditions are those during the blossom period.
