Valuating the discriminative characteristics of irap-markers of different origin for the apple (Malus domestica Borkh.) genetic fingerprinting / Tryapitsyna N.V., Kyselyov D.O. // Sadivnytstvo (Horticulture). – 2012. – 66. – P. 313-321. – Refs.: 10. – in Ukrainian
The authors have evaluated the informativity of IRAP-markers which are obtained on the basis of using polymerase chain reaction with primers to conservative parts of two mobile elements relating to different subclasses of LTR retrotrasposons. High discriminative possibilities of using marker system have been proved for the apple genome fingerprinting with the application of soybean (SIRE-1) and apple (Malus TRIM) retrotransposons. The low correlation level has been detected between genetic similarity values of the analyzed apple genotypes calculated on the basis of each markers system separately. The purposefulness of the consensus analysis with using the both apple marker systems has been shown for apple genetic material systematizing.
