The author presents the results of studying the woody plants water regime at different observation points in Kyiv and shows its main parameters, the coefficients of water retention and water restoring abilities of different trees species, and those of plants drought resistance of , which grow in different parts of the city. It is environmental factor, including urbanization that influence the plants water regime to the greatest extent.
