The changes in the concentration of the plum pox virus coat protein were evaluated by means of classical and semi-quantitative ELISA. The authors conducted mathematical approximations of virus reduction function in explants under the influence of the salicylic acid treatment. Possible ways of the optimizing the chemotherapy schemes for the plum variety Nen’ka explants were analyzed.
