
Purpose and objectives
The purpose of the Interdepartment Thematic Scientific Collection "Horticulture", which is a professional and
peer-reviewed periodical scientific and theoretical publication that
highlights innovative, organizational and methodological aspects of
modern horticultural science, is to provide representatives of the
scientific community with equal opportunities to publish the results of
their scientific research and their free dissemination among scientists
both in Ukraine and abroad.
The collection publishes materials
summarizing the results of research conducted in the horticultural
industry: on selection and variety science, agricultural technology,
nursery production, plant protection, their physiology and winter
hardiness, fertilization and irrigation of plantations, harvesting,
storage and processing of fruits and berries, ecology, economics of
fruit growing, mathematical research methods, history of horticultural
science.
The editorial board of the collection is a supporter of
the European choice of the State in political terms. In applied and
scientific-methodological - a follower of the combination of
scientific-methodical, scientific-methodological and practical aspects
of scientific research. The main principles of the editorial policy are:
relevance, timeliness, reliability, validity, scientific novelty,
innovation, impartiality, practical significance and objectivity in
covering the materials of the publication.
The editorial board
conducts systematic work on preparing for the inclusion of the
collection in international electronic libraries, catalogs and
scientometric databases in order to enter the world scientific
information space, increase the rating of the collection and the
citation indices of its authors.
The objectives of the collection are methodological, practical and research in nature, namely:

publishing the results of innovative fundamental and applied research
that contribute to the development of knowledge on the problems of
horticulture, as well as affecting the increase in the efficiency of
enterprises producing products in the industry;
• ensuring productive dialogue between scientists;
• helping scientists to disseminate their achievements and ideas among representatives of agro-industrial production;
• solving tasks focused on rational use of nature and improving the quality of horticultural products.
The
subject matter of the materials must correspond to the scientific
directions of the publication. Articles must not be in the nature of
open or hidden advertising (anti-advertising). The editorial board
reserves the right to edit the submitted materials in order to ensure
that the texts comply with grammatical, spelling, stylistic and logical
norms, as well as accessibility for the readership. The editorial board
reserves the right not to publish the submitted materials if they do not
correspond to the topic of the journal, are biased, politically biased,
contain unreliable information, and do not comply with generally
accepted moral and ethical norms and current regulatory legal acts of
both Ukraine and the EU states.
