PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PRODUCTION OF FRUIT WINES AND HONEY BEVERAGES IN UKRAINE

The article presents data on the number of areas of traditional and rare fruit crops, yields and gross harvest of fruits, berries, grapes, as well as honey production, volumes of production of fruit and berry wines and honey drinks, indicators of their import and export.
The strategy for the development of fruit growing, defined in the Sectoral Program for the Development of Horticulture of Ukraine for the period until 2025, is highlighted, as well as the results of scientific research and development of specialized scientific institutions on production technologies and recipes for non-alcoholic and alcoholic products from fruit and berry crops and honey.
The essence of the main changes to legislative acts that will contribute to the development of the production of fruit and berry wines, honey drinks and raw materials for their production is described.
Based on the results of the analysis of the data covered in the article, a conclusion is drawn regarding the factors that contribute to the development of the production of alcoholic products from fruits, berries and honey.
