Anti-plagiarism policy

Anti-plagiarism policy

The collection “Horticulture” accepts for publication only original scientific works that have not been previously published and comply with the principles of academic integrity.

The iThenticate software is used to check for plagiarism. Plagiarism in scientific works is a serious violation of ethical norms that regulate the interaction between authors, reviewers, the editorial board, publishers and readers, and contradicts the principles of publication ethics.

Authors are fully responsible for the correctness of quoting and using other people's results.

Each manuscript must:

   · be unique and not contain plagiarism;

   · contain correct references to the sources used;

   · not exceed 3% of coincidences from one source.

The editorial board checks the submitted materials using a system that determines the level of text borrowing in databases and the Internet.

The evaluation is carried out according to the following criteria:

   · more than 85% originality – the article is accepted for consideration;

   · 75-85% – returned to the author for revision;

   · less than 75% – not accepted for publication.

Detection of plagiarism in any form is considered a violation of the ethics of scientific publications.

If borrowing is detected after publication, the editorial board conducts a check, informs the authors and, if necessary, makes a decision in accordance with the publication ethics policy of the collection.
