As a result of the many years researches in the production conditions authors have proven the high starting efficiency of the ecological energy-saving technology of the intense pear orchard growing on a seedling rootstock with the intermediate dwarf intercalary Pyrognom with the long exploitation period in comparison to the modern industrial and reanimation technologies based on the dwarf quince rootstocks use. This development high competity compared to the traditional ones has been confirmed: the high-quality fruits harvest in the first fruit-bearing years achieved 35-56 t/ha. The mentioned technology enables to minimize the anthropogenic impact on the production processes and natural environment as a whole, thanks to the high biological potential – the rootstock viability and tree construction.
It should be particularly noted the proposed technology social and environmental aspects.
The energy-saving technology advantage has been established as for the indices characterizing the photosynthesis efficiency in the plants on the seedling intercalary rootstock Pyrognom in comprison to pear plants grown according to the industrial technology (the usage of the quince rootstock), which determines and provides the proposed technology higher productivity.
The authors have detected the significant difference in the indicators that determine the compatibility of pear cultivar-rootstock combinations. This difference can indicate the possibility of the orchard much longer exploitation period created by the energy-saving technology.

Key words: pear, rootstock, intercalary, cultivar, compatibility, energy saving technology, ecological products.
