The author presents the results of estimating the processes of the black currant cultivars plants growth and development under different systems of the soil management in round-of-bush belts and with irrigation use. The researches carried out in 2010 - 2015 showed that the phenological phases of bushes were influenced by the weather and climatic factors, biological peculiarities of cultivars and level of the humidity provision. The application of spunbond and soil as mulching materials caused the earlier beginning of vegetation (by one day) as well as beginning and end of flowering and coming of the picking maturity by one two days by all studied cvs as compared to the control. Their plants had the longest racems under the joint use of irrigation and spunbond.
