In accordance with the principles of the classical market economy the peculiarities of the demand and proposition balance change on the inland fruit market under the influence of price and non-price determinants have been detected, in particular of the population incomes, introduction of the intensive technologies for the fruit production, spread of the import supplies, change of the goods-substitutes prices and incomes has been characterized by means of the price elasticity indexes. The reasons of the non-elasticity of the fruit demand have been established as well as the factors effecting its elasticity.
